: There are no DODDs schools at Mountain Air Force Base, and local schools are part of the Mountain Home School District. Bus transportation is provided to and from school for those students living more than 1.5 miles from the base. To enroll a new student, parents must bring a copy of a birth certificate, proof of immunizations and any prior school records for children entering grade 2-12. Private and alternative schools are also available as well as home schooling options.
